Our latest outdoor kitchen project saw us transform a mainly disused and unloved garden into a stunning, functional and show-stopping space. This traditional, Shaker-style kitchen has enabled the homeowners to cook and dine al fresco, providing a super-contemporary, fresh space in which to entertain guests.
The single stretch of base cabinetry sits snugly against the garden wall amongst the mature trees and flora. Hand-finished in Thomas James Signature Stain in Charcoal, this kitchen looks perfectly at home in a natural environment. The cabinetry features various sized cupboards for storing all the essentials for outdoor entertaining, such as cookware, serveware and glasses.
The expanse of work surface is made from solid Calcatta quartz in a custom pure white with grey feathering for a soft contrasting detail. In addition, the area between work surface and exterior wall and fencing has been bridged with an identical quartz up stand, enhancing the sleek and seamless appearance.
Appliances selected by the homeowner include a built-in Wolf outdoor gas grill with rotisserie. This chic, high-end grill features precise temperature control for roasting, searing, smoking and grilling different foods at once. The modern, sculpted stainless steel design has been reinforced to withstand the elements and comes with a five-year guarantee. It is, undoubtedly, the piece de resistance of outdoor entertaining.
The Napoleon outdoor glass-fronted fridge is practical- providing much-needed space for raw and cooked food, and drinks for family and friends- and stylish, with the added bonus of low-energy LED lighting and reflective interior.
By installing the stainless steel sink and tap by Caple, the homeowners ensured they had everything on hand without needing to go back inside the main house. The design of the kitchen has been exceptionally well thought through by our team, including our use of solid Accoya timber designed to withstand the harshest of the British weather.
