Outdoor kitchen (Hi res) - 1.jpg

What is your design process?

The design process is the same as that of an interior kitchen. Each client is allocated a dedicated member of our team that will be with them from start to finish. We can also offer a project management service wherein we oversee any structural changes that need to be made.

Do you offer a product guarantee?

Yes, of course. Every Thomas James Outdoors kitchen is built to last, and we include a twenty-five-year guarantee to give you that extra peace of mind. Our outdoor appliances come with a guarantee of between two and twenty years, depending on the type, and all of our fixtures, fittings and accessories have been designed to withstand the elements.

How long is installation?

There is no set time for the designing stage, as each project is unique and depends on the time spent by the client making decisions. The kitchen build is around four weeks, with fitting being around ten working days. Again it all depends on the project, as each is entirely bespoke.

Can you fit appliances?

Absolutely; we work closely with Elkwood Construction, a local team who specialise in all aspects of property renovation and construction. This partnership means we can offer our clients a full service and can prepare, fit and install all aspects of your outdoor kitchen. We can also configure any plumbing and electrical needs, wall preparation, and plastering, as well as fitting your new kitchen cabinets and appliances.

Can you build an outdoor kitchen with a roof?

Yes, we can provide housing for your outdoor space in a variety of different styles, including traditional roofing and solid-oak custom-made gazebos, for a natural and elegant look. As each project is unique, our team can discuss a range of different options to suit your requirements.

Do you need to have a large garden to have an outdoor kitchen?

Not necessarily, as our in-house design team can plan a kitchen to fit any size or shape of garden. Being wholly tailored to both your needs, and that of the space is just one of the many benefits of opting for a bespoke kitchen.

Do outdoor kitchens need to be covered when not in use?

No, as all of our Thomas James outdoor kitchens are built with one hundred per cent weather-durable materials as standard. But if you'd like to provide additional protection from the elements, we recommend complementing the space with a custom cover such as a gazebo, ensuring the longevity and perfect finish.

Can you provide gas, electric and plumbing services?

Yes. All services can be provided and coordinated by us with a reputable and experienced company. However, this will be an additional extra and therefore charged accordingly. You are also welcome to outsource any accredited tradesmen yourself if preferred.
